A front line gubernatorial hopeful under the Delta state All progressive Congress, Chief Osiobe Okotie has extended his felicitations to all Nigerians, especially the Islamic faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.

Chief Osiobe in a message conveyed through by his media Director to whistleblowers has also appealed for the continuous support and understanding of Nigerians for President Muhammad Buhari led administration, saying that his administration’s efforts to transform the country may require that they make more sacrifices to build a better nation for present and future generations.

His Director of Media and Publicity, Hon Ese Sanco in a statement conveying Chief Osiobe Okotie special message to the nation, also congratulated all Nigerians who have undertaken the Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina this year and wished them Allah’s mercies as they travel back home.
He urged Nigerians to seize the opportunity of the Eid-El-Kabir holiday to reflect on how the ideals and virtues of peace, harmony, brotherly love, selflessness, tolerance, honesty, fairness, justice and equity taught by Islam and and other religions can be more extensively harnessed and deployed in addressing the developmental challenges confronting the nation.

He noted that Eid-El-Kabir is a festival of sacrifice that commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, in obedience to the will of Allah.

He called for Allah guidance and preservation for the life of President Mohammadu Buhari in his fight against corruption and to restore the integrity of this great nation.
He however called on all Muslim in Delta state to be steadfast in their faith and exhibit love for humanity which Moslems all over the world are known for while encouraging them to use this holy period to pray to God to restore the glory of Delta state.
