The battle between the Delta state  Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa and his predecessors is getting messier by the day.

Whistleblowers gathered that the present governor may have secretly commissioned his aides to ridicule and cast aspersions on the administration and personality of his Godfather and predecessor Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.

Speaking on why the university of Ibadan honoured governor Okowa the media aide to the Governor, Ovie Ossai eulogized and pour econiums on Sen. Speaking further he said, ” let me tell you Governor Ifeanyi Okowa met a huge debt profile which he never wished for but being a man who hate blames and complaints, he started well with the invention of remarkable projects spread across the state, As at today, Delta state under the administration of Gov. Okowa has witnessed tremendous transformation ”

Apart from confirming the allegations of the huge debt profile foisted on the state despite receiving very high allocations from the federation account over the years by the past administrations, he has shown to the world that such debts were not justifiable but his boss just decides to let the sleeping dog lie. His speech is being viewed by opposition figures as an open indictment of corruption from within the PDP administration in the state

This is coming two weeks after the director of communication to Okowa openly lambasted former Governor Chief James Ibori that Okowa is not his puppet.

Observes believes that the constant attack by the aides of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa on Chief James Ibori and his cousin, former governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, both of whom are his predeccesors is a direct conconsequence of the cold war between the current  governor and his erstwhile godfather.
