Okowa Commisions Filling Station Amidst Condemnation From Deltans

Sen Okowa is set to commission a filling station today tuesday August 2017, the filling station known as  Rain oil along Nnebisi road Asaba is owned by, Gabriel Ogbeche an oil magnate who once worked with Ascon oil before becoming his own Boss when he established Rain oil Ltd,an oil and gas giant in the petroleum sector.

The state governor, Sen Ifeanyi Okowa who in the past two years of his administration has been receiving backlash and complaints of under performance has been berated  for always playing politics with the welfare of Deltans, he has been serially accused of attending parties and commissioning filling stations, car wash, private schools and other projects which only serve his political interest while the state suffer from under development and lack people oriented econimic policies.

Just recently contractors and commissioners under DESOPADEC took a swipe on the governor for grounding the commission and diverting 13% of 50% derivation fund meant for oil producing communities to fund the State capital  development authority. they have however vowed to stop the second term bid of the governor while describing his administration as the worst thing that has ever happened to Delta state
